The greatest among you will be your servant. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted (Matthew 23:11-12).
What I love
about life is this one universal law: You will reap what you sow.
You can count on it every single time. You cannot walk around
practicing evil – being deceptive, manipulative and treating people
poorly – and think that everything is going to be alright with you.
It is not so.

True, but also with the Gospel (Ephesians 2, for example) there is also grace which overrides a universal law. God uses this grace as he pleases.
