"Wise Words" I like that makes perfect sense
The saying is pithy and fun. We do need faith to approach God, but don't forget that God doesn't wait for us. He always takes the first step and reaches His hand to steady even the weak hearted.
Even Thomas with all His doubts found God willing to engage him. Interesting thought, but anything that discourages a child not to approach the Father is questionable. Perhaps this phrase can be viewed as a challenge to faith.
