Imagine you're standing on a stage, before an audience of 100 people.
You're performing. You're either singing, or delivering an essay, playing an instrument, or reciting a poem. Whatever your performance, you're really passionate about it. You want to share it with the audience.
And you're performing your heart out.
And you're looking at the 100 people in the audience, and not one is paying attention. No one is looking at you. Maybe they're sleeping, or listening to someone else performing on their iphones, or reading a book, or talking to each other, or maybe they're studying, or making plans for rest of the day.
And you're performing your heart out.
And you know that no one is paying attention to you.
