My friendFrederico recently told me that he wanted only to be friends with people in his engineering network. But then his fiancée found out he got her sister pregnant and she kicked him out the house. When his engineer friends said no, guess whose door he knocked on?
I’m sorry, but you don’t just slip and fall in love with someone. While in a relationship and you think there might be sparks between you and someone else, you need to walk away, in the opposite direction-that is, if you intend on being with the one you’re currently with.
The first thing I remember learning was how to feed my
sister and to tell time. “ When the little hand is on 7 and the big hand on 12,
put your sister to bed and you go to bed yourself,” my mom said to me.I was almost 4.
Her biggest fear was that she would never find someone who loved her as much as Samuelle, her dog. After she thanked God for her fiancée James, he broke up with her, then Samuelle, her pet forfive years, ran away from home. And was found on James’ doorstep.
Making a promise before God in front of family and friends, Douade believed in the sanctity of marriage. It took him 50 years to find a woman who shared his opinion. Running a red light, a truck slammed into their car, and Douade died instantly, enroute to their wedding reception.
"Thanks for the advice, ma. I told Ouadim I was pregnant, and I hadn’t heard from him in weeks! Before that, he was on me, like a leach. How did you know that lie would work?”
"That's the last thing I told your father. I was pregnant with you. “
First of all, I love GOD. Proud Christian here! I love the smell of baked goods, seeing dads with their sons at the barbershop, couples walking down the street holding hands, I love my friends and their kids and their dogs and cats and my cats. I love poetry, jazz, old school R&B, Hip hop, Gospel, House, architecture, writing, and baking. I love compliments about my baking, I love Paris, Scarborough Ontario, Latino culture, nappy hair, and the sound of kids laughing. The first thing I do every morning after I crawl out of bed is get on my knees to thank God for letting me see another day. I invite you to join me on this journey on this thing called Life, where you might laugh, cry, and perhaps be enlightened along the way! I might be enlightened as well, based on your responses to my posts. For collaborations: daij62@gmail.com
