I think
I know I’m slowly becoming the man I’ve always wanted to be.
It’s started with my deciding
to love myself
;
enough that my opinions
my feelings
matter;
they
become important enough for me
to take a stand.
at least.
this will surprise those
who think their opinions are worth everyone leaning on.
the man I used to be
would care.
The new man I’m becoming
does
not.
