Anne Morrow Lindbergh was a pioneering American aviator, author, and the spouse of fellow aviator Charles Lindbergh.
She is quoted as saying that the most exhausting thing in life is being insincere.
I beg to differ. I think the most exhausting thing in life is not forgiving someone and holding a grudge. I know from personal experience. I used to be not unable, but unwilling to forgive. What it took for me to forgive was when I accidentally caused someone heartache, and I begged for her forgiveness, then I thought myself, I'm asking someone to forgive me and yet I'm holding a grudge? Once I forgave, I actually felt a weight lifted off of me.
