not anymore

She’s not the ish any -more

but it’s cool. Not

that she ever was

but I did think she was

was deserving of the ring  my grandmother had given me

 to place on the

4^th finger left hand-

That same finger she lifted

When she couldn’t slur the word

I didn’t think was in her vocabulary

when I asked her to marry me

instead of saying yes.
