- First of all, I love GOD. Proud Christian here! I love the smell of baked goods, seeing dads with their sons at the barbershop, couples walking down the street holding hands, I love my friends and their kids and their dogs and cats and my cats. I love poetry, jazz, old school R&B, Hip hop, Gospel, House, architecture, writing, and baking. I love compliments about my baking, I love Paris, Scarborough Ontario, Latino culture, nappy hair, and the sound of kids laughing. The first thing I do every morning after I crawl out of bed is get on my knees to thank God for letting me see another day. I invite you to join me on this journey on this thing called Life, where you might laugh, cry, and perhaps be enlightened along the way! Daij, do you really believe he is still mourning the loss of the relationship he had with Halle. It’s been a few year now. With several relationships, one that produced a child, it appears that Halle is way over him or perhaps, serial dating is a coping mechanism for her. I can’t call it. This is a dope song by the way.
Jason, I agree with you. he's moved on. I like the song too.
Beautiful song...i would say most def, that Halle was on the mind here.
Emotional song. I would guess being in an intimate relationship w/ Halle Berry is not something one gets over w/ a quickness. Plus, he hurt & humiliated her in the pubic eye. After something that traumatic, IF a man's heart is in the right place, it takes a while to fully forgive himself.
One.
And I would never forgive myself if I was Halle's husband and I had hurt and humiliated her. I would be distraught and would want to kick my own a** for the rest of my life.
